If we want to live with dignity

Every citizen must become a soldier of the
nation. A soldier is not only willing to sacrifice but also ready
to stop those who destroy the nation.
If an honest citizen unjustly goes to jail, then the entire nation
must be prepared to go to jail.
We need to eradicate from this nation, the breed of corrupt traitors
who are ready to sell the country for personal gains. |

Country First is filing a series of Public
Interest Litigations (PIL) to clean up the system through
legal avenues and educational programs to spread the message of

I. Electoral Reforms
- Country First has filed a PIL in the Court to
introduce an option stating "None of the above"
as a choice on the voting ballot. If more than 50% of the voters
exercise this option, then all such candidates should be debarred
from that constituency for that election as well as the next. This
gives a citizen the option to reject antisocial elements and encourages
honest citizens to step in. Hence, the Right to Elect
must be accompanied with the Right to Reject.
- Floor crossing must stop. Whether one or one
third, no candidate should be allowed to cross the floor. If they
do, they must seek a fresh mandate. 2. Criminal Justice

- Address causes that breed corruption,
thereafter corruption cases must be tried on a day to day basis
and given priority in order to deter corrupt people and bring justice
to honest and law abiding citizens without being harassed. Of the
30 million cases pending in Indian courts today, only approximately
15,000 are corruption cases. It will cure the system. -
Witness Protection Plan - The severe problem of witnesses
turning hostile is amply reflected in the low conviction rate of
approx. 5%. Hence a witness protection plan becomes crucial in order
to bring justice to the honest citizen. Such programs are already
operational in many countries. Why not in India ? |
